Finally, we can dedicate an entire book to driving Austria’s mountain passes! Our new guide for sports-car tours through Austria’s best pass regions is called DRIVING THE ALPS – AUSTRIA. Once again, it’s packed with useful information, including pass profiles, maps, detailed route descriptions, hotel tips, fun facts & more. Famous filming locations are also part of the journey—from James Bond to The Sound of Music and more. The guide is available in German now, with the English edition coming soon!

Since July 2026, EPIC ROADS has been featured in Octane Magazine with its own “Roadbook” column. Issue 83 takes us to the Großglockner, while Issue 84 heads into the Western Alps. Each feature is based on our book Driving the Alps.

Our first coffee-table book is here! The design book MOUNTAIN PASSES - The Alps iis an ode to the most beautiful mountain roads in the Alps. Created in collaboration between EPIC ROADS founder Stefan Hänisch and multidisciplinary artist and air-cooled Porsche enthusiast Thomas Mattern, this premium volume brings together automotive culture, photography, and a passion for the Alps in a unique way. In the March issue of the Porsche 356 Club magazine “356 – Driving at Its Best,” our guide Driving the Alps is featured in the “Book Recommendation” section. Drawing on his interview with Stefan Hänisch, club magazine author Stefan Maier also shares a few anecdotes about how the book came to life.

The day finally arrived at FC Bayern’s home match against Mainz 05, when we had the pleasure of welcoming the winners of the PFF giveaway for Driving the Alps to the Allianz Arena! Winner marcelm1987 sent his wife Anne and their son Hannes to enjoy the experience.

While the 2–2 result was a little unexpected, it was still a fantastic evening with great conversations—and even a Christmas party to round things off. The perfect finale for young Hannes: he even got to meet Thomas Müller!
